On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, The Comfort Cause was awarded the Dabo's All In Foundation Grant for the second year. We are incredibly grateful to receive this award. In Dabo Swinney's speech to the grant award winners, Dabo spoke about being "the hands and feet" in our communities. He challenged us to have the core values of a Tiger.

Toughness

Integrity

Growth

Excellence

Relentless Efforts

Service Before Self

Dabo told the story of Leo Chenal. Many probably don't know his name, but had he not made two BIG plays in the Superbowl last season, the Chiefs wouldn't have won. He challenged us to make the plays that make a difference in life and make the plays that encourage others. It's not about us... it's about our impact on others. He said, "You will never lose when you help others win." That is what The Comfort Cause is all about. Helping folks get through a tough diagnosis the way others helped me through my own diagnosis.

Dabo and Kathleen Swinney's foundation will give over $1.7 million to 273 different organizations throughout South Carolina this year. There are so many great organizations in this state who are working to be the hands and feet. I am grateful and honored to receive this money, and I promise that we will continue to have toughness, integrity, a growth spirit, practice excellence, relentless efforts, and we will serve others before we serve ourselves.
